I would like to put a full-frame sensor into my DX camera. Is that possible?

I wouldn't think you could. There would be so many changes that you'd need to make. The DX camera probably has a physical internal dimension suitable for the smaller frame. The pentaprism is probably for the smaller sensor. And then there would be the electrical interface for the bigger sensor. You'd have to change all that.
Hopefully someone would prove me wrong.
