Some thoughts on the Olympus 1.45x teleconverter lens

(f-stop) = (focal length) / (clear aperature) The "clear aperature" is the size of the entrance pupil, approximately the size of the front element. This teleconverter adds a new front element 1.4 times the size of the existing element.
