Camera Cables for GPS

Dear Sirs:

I am an amateur radio operator whom just purchased an ICOM IC-91AD Amateur Radio. Said radio uses a programming cable with a 2.5mm end on it (stereo) that connects to a DB-9. Hmm, sound familiar to you?

Depending on if the cable is used for programming or for GPS reporting it can be configured either as:

DB-9 PIN 5 -> Sleeve
DB-9 PIN 3 -> TIP
DB-9 PIN 2 -> RING

Or

DB-9 PIN 5 -> Sleeve
DB-9 PIN 3 -> RING
DB-9 PIN 2 -> TIP

That all said, there appear to be cables being sold on E-Bay which are in fact DB-9 to 2.5mm in format, yet since they are labeled based on which camera they are for, it would instructive to me if you could tell me which camera other than the ones listed herein below would also work with this type of cable.
