Sakar 4.1 MP Digital Camera Memory Card Problem

I have a 4.1 Megapixel Digital Concepts camera. I purchased a 2GB memory card, but it doesn't seem to want to work properly. It only wants to hold three pics even with the memory card. I'm a rookie when it comes to digital cameras, so I'm wondering if I got the wrong memory card? I sure don't know what else it could be... H-E-L-P It would be nice to be able to use this camera finally!

Maybe you have to manually tell it to use the memory card rather than the internal storage. Or perhaps the memory card just need to be formatted it in your digital camera.

I have the same problem, and when I turn off the camera and turn it back on the pictures are gone. I have done everything I know of which is why I came to this site hoping to find an answer, but it looks like to no avail. The camera will not read or recognize the memory card.
