Send a message to your friends. You can stamp a caption onto the bottom of your digital photograph. Just browse for a JPEG image, type in your message, and click "Submit". The message will be stamped onto the photograph. You can download the stamped photograph and send it to your friends.

The server automatically deletes the photograph you upload after an hour. So make sure you download the stamped photograph onto your own hard disk. Don't just send the link out in an electronic mail; the photograph will most likely be gone when your recipient reads the e-mail.

Message Cameras

Recently, I had come across "Message Cameras". These disposable cameras imprint a variety of captions on the bottom of your photos as you take them. They have message cameras for cats and dogs, Las Vegas, and weddings, etc. For example, the Las Vegas message camera has the following captions:

"VEGAS VACATION"
"SHOW ME THE MONEY!"
"24 HOUR TOWN"
"FABULOUS LAS VEGAS"
"VIVA LAS VEGAS"
"VEGAS! VEGAS! VEGAS!"
"THE LAS VEGAS STRIP"
"LAS VEGAS, NEVADA"

These message cameras reminded me of my Canon Elph Jr. APS film camera, which also has a set of five pre-programmed titles:

I LOVE YOU
THANK YOU
SEASON'S GREETING
CONGRATULATIONS
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

The features from these cameras motivated me to write this web application. Now you can add captions to all of your Las Vegas photos, even if you taken them last year.
