MV5 with dead view finder and screen?

Hi all,i have a canon mv5 with no picture on screen or v/finder.It appears from researching internet forums that the ccd is at fault.Is this even worth trying to fix and if so does anyone know where i can get a new ccd if at all? Any advice would be appreciated.
