How to install and use the Sony ECM-HQP1 Surround Sound Microphone?

I purchased a ECM-HQP1 microphone for my Sony 405.I installed it on the cam.but I can not find out how to set it in the 405 menu if that is where it is supposed to be.Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
