E:61.11 on Sony HDR-SR11 HDD Camcorder

Hi folks, just had the error message E:61.11 on my Sony HDR SR11 HDD camera. Tried a few tricks that didn't work. We are working in Namibia and the prospect of a very long and expensive period with the pain of courier services and a 'Didn't buy it here' mentality was looming. I searched the internet this morning and bumped into your site. Although the camera and error message is slightly different, the camera was behaving as described i.e. blurry focus and slow start up times.
It was with great joy that I applied the 'Fonzy' method for the right reasons (It was coming anyway). It took three shots until I got the right intensity... but voila... good as new.
So thanks alot... much appreciated. I make this post also for others who have the same camera as mine and experience this error message. I couldn't find any relevant info on this particular model and specific error message.
Being able to use the Fonzy method on modern electronics almost restores some of my faith in them.... on the other hand... I've got many other things in my life that I am now going to go and apply it to. I will use my succes with the handy-cam from the stand in my defense;)
Cheers, Paul.
