SUPER for Windows is a free video converter for the Windows platform. The "MOV to MPEG-4" thread has links and instructions on how to download SUPER.
I just downloaded it and installed it on my netbook to convert some videos. But I found the designer of SUPER didn't consider the screen resolution of a typical netbook (1024x600). So I can't get to the buttons on the bottom of SUPER to start the conversion process.
But I managed to figure out a work around and SUPER is not encoding my video files as we speak . . . uh . . . as I'm typing this message. And here is how you can get it to work on your net book.
1. Right click on an empty portion of the SUPER GUI.
2. Select "Change Skin (Theme)" from the pop-up menu.
3. Select the "Mac OS X" skin.
Once you have selected the "Mac OS X" skin, you will notice the "Encode (Active Files)" button on the bottom of the screen. That's the button you need to click to start the encoding process.
