Using Olympus SDK in VB

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is easy or difficult to use VB6 to interface with the SDK ? I only need to take a mugshot. I am asking this because previously my code interfaces with the Olympus camera via a third party software. I intend to replace the third party code with Olympus SDK.

Thanks for any advice.

Best regards

I'm not a super VB programmer, however Olympus now has a .NET CSharp example. In addition to this, the users are quite helpful in the Forum.

Canon and Nikkon also have SDKs.

The olympus sdk is excellent. The sdk has an ocx which can control most of the
camera features

taking a mug shot would be a 5-10 lines program

I am not an expert programmer but figured out the olympus SDK in about 10 minutes. Plenty of VB examples come with the SDK
