In recent times, I have came across a lot of new equipment . . . I got a Sony DCR-HC90 MiniDV Handycam and a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T11 digital camera. Each uses its own little battery pack that I haven't seen in the past.
The Sony DCR-HC90 uses a new compact A-series infoLithium battery, while the Sony DSC-T11 uses the NP-FT1 infoLithium battery. I have also owned a Sony DCR-TRV350 Digital8 Handycam, which uses the P-series infoLithium battery. So I have several batteries for each battery system.
Since all of these batteries are infoLithium batteries, couldn't Sony just make one compact battery and make adapters for each system?
I think that would be a great idea, because everytime I get a new Sony gear, I would be able to use all my previous batteries. Over time, I would have enough batteries to last for a week!
