converting sigma SA mount lenses to Canon EF

I have some Sigma SA mount lenses and I would like to convert them to Canon EF mounts. I hear the mounts are quite similar to Canon EF. Could I buy an adapter or maybe take the mount from a scrap Sigma lens for a Canon EF and use it on my Sigma lens? Any tips or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!

Yes this is possible. However you will need a canon mount made by sigma for that lens. the mounting pionts for the screws will not line up if you use ef mount made by canon. these parts are not easy to come by.
