Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L

The Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L lens is a must have for any photographers shooting architecture or landscape scenes. This lens holds true to any Canon product I have owned over the years. Top Quality and reliability. You can never go wrong choosing Canon products.

This lens has made me a few bucks over the past couple of years with local newspapers. I live in a somewhat architectural center. I am constantly going out around town and shooting the different scenes during different times of the year and day. This lens really helps bring out the superb designs as well as the wonderful colors. The best pictures I have taken have been more of the abstract architectural structures. I am able to give the structure a cool funneling effect with this lens, which makes for a nice wall art piece.

Overall, I would not even attempt to try any other brands. I have been committed to Canon for so many years. I have tried the “others”. The others are good quality, but Canon seems to always deliver. If you are in the market for this lens do not look any further. It is a must have. It is definitely worth the money, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed in the end product.

I am not a good teacher otherwise I would give more recommendations on how to use the lens. I am an amateur photographer and self taught myself some of the SLR functions. I am not as savvy in the “technical” terms as others that have been more into professional photography. This lens is NOT difficult to learn, and it is actually a lot of fun to use.
I would recommend this lens to any amateur or professional.

When I first got into photography all I was using was a wide-angle lens. Now I am into telephoto lenses and Tilt-Shift lenses. It is a true testament how with a little imagination and know how, a person can create some high quality artistic images.

Be sure to give this Tilt-Shift lens a try. Go to your local camera shop and see if they will let you test drive it before you buy it. I don't like to invest in new lenses until I know I can find a specific use for it.
If you are able to try it out, try walking around town for an hour and take some pictures of downtown. That is really where you can make this product shine.
