how to get a good picture aim without cutting half the personns face off

i have a mini digatal camera...but how can you tell when you take a picture of someone you wont cut half their face off,like iv been doing!!!..i cant tell if im even pointing the camera right to even get a good picture out of the thing,,,,,can you like tell me ,teach me how to hold and aim???? thank you very much!!!!!

Unfortunately the Vivitar Mini Digital Camera doesn't have a LCD to frame and review your shots. So that means you will have to practice aiming it with or without the viewfinder. I suggest you spend some time practicing on some objects around your home. Set up the objects on a table, and shoot with the digital camera from a distance that you normally shoot other people. After each shot, load up on your computer to see what is in and out of the frame. After some practice, you will learn to aim with your digital camera without having to use the viewfinder.
