Blackberry Curve 8320

I purchased this Blackberry obviously for its functionality but I was very pleasantly surprised by its camera. Although the camera is only 2 mega pixels but it's as good as the Nokia N95's 5 mega pixel camera, yes I have both the phones. After I discovered how nice the pictures turn out I completely shifted to my blackberry, now its all in one phone for me. I also like the quality, especially how the camera doesn't screw up photos of the sun. Some camera phones turn the sun into a black dot.

The images taken can be stored up to a maximum of 1600 x 1200 resolutions. The phone also has a memory card so a lot of photos can be stored. It can capture images in up to three picture quality and size resolutions. The pictures can also be shared instantly by various ways, email, MMS or Blackberry Messenger. You can also directly upload the image to sites like Flicker and Photobucket using WiFi.

Other options of the camera are editing or changing these:

-White Balance, many options or indoor and outdoor pictures
-Picture Size, the options are Large (1600 x 1200), Medium (1024 x 768) and small (640 x 480)
-Picture Quality
-Color Effect/ Saturation levels
-Crop
-Rotate
-Straighten
-Remove flaws like red eye by using the software Photo Suite
-It is also possible to change the Viewfinder Mode.

Photos can also be immediately set as a unique caller ID or Home Screen image
The other features are flash, 5x digital zoom and self portrait mirror, the feature missing is the 3G support.

Taking photos is very simple, there is a shortcut to the camera at the side of the phone, just click it once and the camera comes on, simply click again to take the picture. The second way is to go to the main menu and choose the camera and then take the picture simply by using the front rolling ball. Alternatively you can also create a shortcut to the camera on the today's screen.

Transferring the images to your PC is also very simple, the phone comes with a USB cable, no special software is required, and the phone menu options are like a normal USB device simply copy the images or drag and drop to the location desired.

Some cons are:
The shutter sound is not changeable, and also cannot be silent.
The only downside is that it does not take videos just photos
