Apple iPhone 3G Speed Camera Phone

The Apple iPhone 3G Speed camera phone is an improvement of the Apple iPhone 3G. It adds common cell phone features such as multimedia messaging, voice recording and voice dialing to its predecessor. It has designed similar to the earlier model with the same external controls. It has a fingerprint resistant oleo phobic coating to prevent smudges.

The Apple iPhone 3G S' camera has good quality photos but lacks in built photo editing features. The photo quality depends on the light intensity; photos taken in natural light are brighter while those taken in low light are bright but with less orange tint. The camera however is not optimized for some conditions such as fluorescent light.

The other setbacks are lack of a self-timer, no flash or digital zoom unlike other camera phones. The camera however has other exciting features such as a tap to focus feature whereby you point the lens on the object and tapping on a small box on the display when you are ready. If you focus on the brightest part of an object, the whole picture will appear brighter and vice versa.

The camera has macro focus and close-up photos on the Apple iPhone 3G S appear better than those of the Apple iPhone 3G but its hard to tell when its working and when its not. The macro setting works well with auto focus feature but if you are a keen photographer you would need more control.

The Apple iPhone 3G S display has a display of 3.5” TFT active matrix screen with maximum resolution of 480 by 320 pixels, it's powered by one lithium ion battery with a talk time of up to 600 minutes. It weighs about 4.8 ounces and is 2.4” by 0.5” by 4.6” in dimension.

The Apple iPhone 3G S has other new and noticeable features such as a landscape key board that will enable you to use both hands, spotlight to help you find calendar entries and e-mails on the iPhone and Bluetooth stereo. The iPhone OS 3.0 provides turn-by-turn directions.

I had hoped that Apple would go with a 5MP and allow HD video shooting.

Perhaps when the new iPod Touch debuts in the fall, we might see HD video shooting quality.
