i bought one of these cameras at the pawn shop, and of corse no program cd. if someone has it and can send me a copy i would be greatly appreciative.

Mr Holmes, It seems you have not missed much. If you have a firewire connection & a pinnacle software in your computer, you do not need the supplied CD. That is just a VCD maker & slide show software. And if you have Sony VAIO series computers, you can just breeze in with your Camera & use the inbuilt DVD making ready-to-use button. Good Luck

This a nice piece of squary edged/match box which is immensely appealing. A sophisticated look. No rounds or space ship type appearance like other newer models. My first impression about its video quality has been very satisfying. It recorded A flashy stage show night look like a broadcast quality. It is quite functional as you start learn to use & your fingers will fly on its touch screen functions which most critics have disliked. Rather these pocket size should have lesser mechanical buttons to avoid clatter & accidental pressing.
All in all it is great bargain to buy today when there are DVD cams attracting the show & tumbling the prices of these excellent machines. Video quality of a tape/minidv is by far the best. Good luck to buyers
