Review Submission for DCR-PC350

I currently bought a discontinued DCR-PC350, it has more manual control and has the same CCD as the HC90. Would there be any posibility that I could write an article on the DCR-PC350 because this is a camcorder which I do know alot about.

You are absolutely right, Joe. Thanks for your technical contribution to the forum. You are welcome to write a review for the DCR-TRV350. I think it's wonderful that you are willing to share information with the community. Feel free to post your review in the Video Camera: Sony section. Or contact me with your article and I will publish it in the Camera Hacker "Reviews" article section.

Thankyou for making this website Chieh Cheng. I think this website is a great place for camera and video enthusiasts to discuss what they enjoy the most. I will try to send you an email of the review in Word format when I finished writing it. I have only one minor comment, the camera bought is the DCR-PC350 not the DCR-TRV350. If I had more first hand experience on the TRV350 then I would write a review on it also. Thank you for your time. I'll get back to you asap.

Joe

Here is a picture of my camcorder.

Sorry . . . I meant DCR-PC350. When I read your earlier paragraph about the DCR-TRV350, it just stuck. I didn't catch the later part where you switched to DCR-PC350.

Anyway, looking forward to your review. Post a message here when you mail it to me just in case it gets caught in the SPAM filter.

Got it, Joe! It looks good just eyeing it briefly. I will process it as soon as I have some time . . . maybe even tonight. ;-)

Thank you. :) lol. If you need any help please tell me. I have just bought a 2x sony teleconverter, and a LANC cable. This website is growing, do you maintain it by yourself?

Cool! Sounds like you got some more fun toys to play it. Feel free to write reviews for the teleconverter and the LanC cable as well. I'd be happy to post them for you. If I need help with the article you sent me, I will let you know.

I do maintain this web site by myself. The advantage is that it is SPAM free, I stay close-knitted to the community, and the quality content grows. On the other hand, it is starting to take my time away from focusing on camera hacking and photography.

By the way, did you see the article on Enabling DV-in on Sony Digital Camcorders. It talks about how to use the LanC cable to enable DV-in. Of course, if you don't live in Europe, it's not that useful. But it also talked about dump firmware, and etc., with the cable.
