Do note that converters with high def outputs (ie. DVI, HDMI, component, VGA etc) are ineligible for the coupon.

I just got my coupons this week.

The Echostar TR-40 is $40, basically free after the coupon. It is not available until June. Walmart has the RCA DRA 800A/800B for $49. I pick this one up this weekend and see how it goes.

Where can you get the Echostar TR-40 when it becomes available in June? I think my coupon expires 6/14 or something like that.

I used one of my coupons to buy the Insignia NS-DXA1 at Best Buy for $59.99 - $40 = $19.99. Employee won't let me use the 10% off coupon! >-(

I search for the RCA tv converter box on Walmart and only see the RCA DTA800 . . . is 'DRA' a typo?

Walmart also has the Magnavox Digital-to-Analog TV Converter Box for $52.97. Does this one qualify for the coupon?

The Echostar TR-40 is supposed to be available at the same stores as the other converter boxes.

Sorry, that was a typo for the RCA DTA800 and not the DRA. I got it at a Super Walmart for under $50. The Magnavox also qualifies for the coupon. There is a list from the www.dtv2009.gov site. The reviews for the RCA show that it is a better value than the Magnavox.
