cameraexpress.com and expocameras.com are scammers

Stay away from cameraexpress.com and expocameras.com They are the same. It's 100% scam, and you will get nothing or you will get charged much more than anticipated.

Their phone number is (800) 847-1833. Getting a hold of a Service Rep is unbelievably difficult. "please hold. please hold" is the norm. Finally you get the person putting you on hold to actually deal with you and it turns out that Prior post is correct.

Typical bait and switch. They will tell you bogus stories. Camera is discontinued. There is not battery with the camera. The battery is a starter 15 minute battery. The lens is plastic. Lens is different brand. They do not accept american express (which the site clearly states that they do). Finally, they offer to hook you up with something else that is just slightly more expensive.

Never order anything from them.

Yeah, I called Expo Cameras 3 times I wanted to find out info about a particular Video Camera. Every time I started to ask a question they hung up. The last time I called first thing I said was, " Are you going to hang up on me? " He said uhhh yes I am ....

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE LOSERS THAT CAN'T GET A REAL JOB!

I just cancelled an order and am working with my bank to reverse payment. Bought a camera package for $517 dollars and they hit my card for $975.00...scam I am. When you call every option has music except the option to confirm an order. Once you call to confirm the person bombards you with many options and even tells you that what your buying is not good enough. Have now spent over six hours just trying to talk to someone. Just try to get a RMA#....it will take you seven days just to get the number!
Stay away.........report them to consumer protection.
