Wisetronics...Don't purchase from them!Beware after checking out a site called wisetronics.com or Wisetronics I believe they are ran by the same criminals. I checked the BBB and the complaints were the same- Bait and Switch. Both websites are apparently based in NY and the registered owner is Shlomi Albaydadi. Hre is the BBB report: Nature of Business According to complaints filed with the BBB, WiseTronics employs bait and switch sales tactics in order to sell more merchandise. After placing an order on-line, consumers receive an e-mail instructing them to call the company to "confirm" their order. Once on the phone, sales representatives try to sell consumers extra batteries, accessories, and warranties, some of which are included with the camera. When consumers decline, their order is cancelled or they are told that their item is not in stock. Rick Wisetronics....BAD Bussiness Practices.................................... I had the same issue with Wisetronic's on my phone purchase on June 6, 2007. Here's the fun part....Listed on the packing slip was a note on their "Return" policy. "To return or exchange the above products in whole as a package, NOT individually, since your was processed So, you can NOT just return one item, you have to return everything for them to correct the problem. So, I call customer service, extraordinaire, "Rachel". I told her I was over charged by $100. She told me that The only price that was I was able to prove was the camera price, because that was on their web site. I was on the phone for two hours, trying to get them to agree on a fair deal, still no go. She refused to believe that they made any mistake (for obvious reason's). I guess they got a little upset that I called American Express and put a "Hold Payment" on the entire order. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS Wisetronics.com Chris I ordered a replacement camera from Wisetronics. My original one was stolen at an amusement park. When I called to comfirm my order, they tried to sell me additional equipment. Since I had all the original accessories for my original camera, I did not need to order additional batteries, etc. Weeks went by and my order was never sent. Everytime I called, I was told the camera was on backorder. Finally after 3 months, I was told my order was cancelled. Tony Do not use Wisetronics. Their bait & switch tactics are all over the 'net. I bought it unfortunately. It's hard to say out loud that I got suckered, but I did. :( Aaron the Consumer Yep there are still at it and sad but true people like me keep them in busness. I did issue a written complant with BBB to add with several others but apperently this is not enough. Also aware according to BBB they have several other websites, 86photovideo.com and mywirelessdeal.com. Gary Dingman
