Minox DCC Leica M3 Plus far less expensive in the U.S. Than in Japan

Seeing the Minox DCC Leica M3 Plus in person at Yodobashi-Umeda in Osaka, Japan tempted me to buy one for my wife. But seeing the price tag of 39800 yen (approximately $362) turned me away. Back at the guest house, I checked the U.S. price online. On Amazon, the same digital camera goes for $199 with free Super Saver shipping (see "Related Links" below)! That's a huge price difference, you can pretty much buy two of them for the Japanese price. So if you live in Japan and are travelling to the United States soon, you might consider picking one up while you are over there.

In case you want to save a few bucks on a classic digital replication, the slightly older Minox DCC Leica M3 (without the "Plus") is going for $171.47 with free Super Saver shipping at Amazon.
