memory card locked on PC

I just bought a Canon Ixus 960 and trying with 2 new memory cards, in several ways, the cart seems to be locked when accessed from my PC. (I Can't delete, rename, create new file on the card).
But when it is inserted in the camera I can do anything. I'd like to place some new files from my pc to the card but it seam impossible.
Someone can help me ?

From the sound of you symptom, it's the memory card reader on you computer that is bad.

By the way, you wouldn't have turned on the image protection on your camera, would you? If you did, you might not have permission to delete the file. You can try right-click on the file, click on "Properties", and see if you get uncheck the "read-only" check-box.

I just had that problem. Take out your memory card. Look at the little tab why which it says "lock" Make sure it is NOT in the locked position. If it is not, lide it back and forth once and try everything you did again.
