extracting photos from a physically damaged SD Card

Hi,
My dog chewed on my SD card. The exterior of the card is damaged, but I believe the bigger chip inside is in one piece. Is there any way to extract the pics from the "inside" of the card?
Do you know of anybody that does it?
Thanks!

If the electrical contacts are still work, you can just stick it into a shallow SD Card reader and extract all of the photos.
