Anyone have any luck swapping out the hard drive in a portable hard drive / media card downloader, such as the Wolverine Sixpac series? Or, does anyone know of a media card storage device that you provide your own 3.5" hard drive for?

Usually these devices comes with a 2.5" hard disk. What is your intention of swapping out these drives? To put in a bigger one?
X'S-DRIVE produces a number of these devices. Many of them can be ordered without a pre-installed hard disk, so that you can install one yourself.
