SDK Live Preview

Hi, I'm thinking of using the live preview functionality of the Canon SDK for a project of mine. But before I go too far, I wanted to know if anyone here has experience on what the resolution and framrate of the live preview would be at the host application?

I know only about powershots. Resolution 320x240 only, but it is hard to say something about frame rate, new frame data is delivered by the specific callback function, I can only say that it is called enough often.
