Canon EOS Elan IIe

Your opinion comments on the Elan sound very strange to me...
Maybe because you began to realy shoot on a Rebel, your used to the small size. I personally hate the entire Rebel series because of its tiny view finders, small grips, and cheep plastic feel... As you move up on price and porformance of an SLR, the size is likely to increase as well. I shoot and EOS 3 and use an Elan 7 for back up, and these two are a little more compact than the EOS 1.

Why doesn't the stupid thing have an "on" button? Are all of the older SLR's like this? Seriously...wtf.

"On" button??? It's off in the "L" (stands for locked) mode. It's on in every other mode.
