mamiya-sekor 50mm EF adapter for canon

I just got a lens that is labeled as a "Mamiya-sekor EF 1:1.7 f=50mm" As I'm new to photography I thought it would fit my rebel xt being that it is labeled "EF" but it does not fit. it has the 3 bayonet hook up but there is an extra tab on the side. I looked around the net and couldn't find much info so...

Does anyone know if there is an adapter that I can get so this would fit on my canon rebel xt?
