hi cheng

good idea - cool execution
but you can save yourself from paying for the bandwidth charges and also that manually selecting files one by one and uploading and downloading is a cumbersome process.

how about a small c++/vb app for the same ?

I've been using your program Date Stamp JPEG and enjoying it very much, until today.

Today I received a fatal error message and I'm not sure how to correct it. Can you enlighten me of the steps to correct this error?

Thanks for notifying me. I didn't know this online program is broken. By the look of the error message, it seems that the web hosting provider I use has made some changes to the PHP library behind my back. I will take a look tonight to see if I can fix it.

Ok. I just fixed the problem by using a different EXIF library that is under my control, rather than under the control of my web hosting provider. Now the online program is working again. I hope this fix will eliminate future problems too.

Attached is another error message received upon trying to date stamp
another photo. I don't know what it means other than the fact that I cannot
date stamp my photo.

Ok, it was a problem with images that doesn't have EXIF data. I modified Date Stamp JPEG so that it's more robust and can handle these images.

it didn't read the date and time from the exif information, it just create the date and time from when i upload the jpg

"If your digital photograph doesn't contain EXIF data that is relevant to date and time, then the date stamp will be created based on the date and time you uploaded your photograph."
