I have a W80 with the E:62:11 error. Showed up sporadically after a couple hard hits. It wasn't a problem; i didn't notice any lower image quality and it would still let me take pix, just with that error message being obnoxious. The only annoying part was the really long load times to turn the camera on... At first it would only happen every now and then, then all the time. Tried the "tapping" (it actually took a decent whack on each of the sides-while the camera was on and in picture mode-to get the error to clear, and the startup time back to normal). I guess the most old fashioned method of fixing things still applies to modern technology, haha!
1) Turn camera on and put in picture mode
2) Whack the camera against your palm on all the sides around the edge.
3) Turn it off, take out battery for 30 sec.
4) But battery back in and power on
5) Problem solved

Unbelievable!! It worked perfectly with me! I resisted to do this, but, fortunately, I did and the message goes out! Thank you...
