Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5 - A Smashing Digital Camera

Sony is a Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation with its headquarters in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Sony Corporation is one of the largest media conglomerates in the world. The maximum video resolution of the camera is 1920 x 1080 pixels. The ISO sensitivity ranges from auto, ISO 125 to ISO 3200.

The camera bears a stylish body and is very compact. It contains incredible cutting-edge image innovation. The camera has twice the sensitivity of conventional sensors. The advanced Exmor R CMOS sensor offers beautiful low noise images even at low light conditions with full details. It includes the premium G lens which has the optical zoom of 10x. It covers 25 mm to 250 mm range (35 mm equivalent) perfectly. This high zoom lens is capable of shooting from wide angle landscapes and take group shots in a clean close-up range dramatically.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5 incorporates advanced optical technologies and this camera is fun to use. The exclusive features allows to capture and share the precious moments. The start-up time of the camera is 2 seconds. Using the intelligent sweep panorama, the user can take extra wide angle views even with moving subjects. The optical SteadyShot active mode cuts the camera shake and give nice shooting experience. In burst mode, the camera can shoot at 10 frames per second (10 shots). The burst interval time is approximately 0.1 second.

Cyber-shot DSC-HX5 comprises GPS and compass functions which enhance the travel photography. The HDR (High Dynamic Range) backlight correction provides natural, balanced pictures with high contrast. The new portrait shooting mode produce beautifully framed portraits. The face detection feature and two-person setting is also available. The supplied accessories comes with this camera are rechargeable battery NP-BG1, battery charger, power cord, multi connector cable, wrist strap, CD-ROM and HDMI adaptor.

The internal memory capacity of the camera is 45 MB. It uses SD/SDHC memory cards for storage purpose. It uses lithium G battery for power. The supplied battery with this camera is NP-BG1. It provides 310 shots for a single full-time charge. Cyber-shot DSC-HX5 works continuously for 155 minutes. The camera weighs 200 grams (7.1 ounces) with accessories and 170 grams (6.0 ounces) alone.
