Sony Mavica FD-95 displays C:13:01 error

help, i have a fd-95 with the C:13:01 format error. it has been determined that its a head alignment problem and the floppy drive needs replacing. the drive is a teac fd-02h. i cant find this drive anywhere. is there a compatable replacment and if so what is it and where can i find it? thanks

i have a sony fd mavica whenever i try to use a floppy disk it always says format error also says c:13:01

I have had this same error report. In the past each time I had to replace the CR2016 batteries in the floppy card holder.

Sometimes the motor inside the disk drive gets stuck and can be repaired by physically moving the worm drive part of the motor.

It's also common for the silver part of the floppy disk to come off (along with the spring) and get lodged in the drive.

The camera comes apart pretty easy.
