Pocket sized digital camera
Looking for a pocket sized digital camera for mostly landscape shots, but would like it to be a pretty good all rounder if possible. I like the idea of it having optical zoom and image stabilizer and would like it to be compact as possible so I can stick it into my pocket while out walking and forget about it. A Camera that sux or a P&S that is a P.O.S. My wife bought a low end Vivitar X024 (Sakar = mfr?) ($59 at Kohl's) to have a pocket camera for a wedding. This camera default power on is forced flash off. You hand this camera to a friend- they assume its point and shoot.... so the camera sensitivity goes to the slowest shutter speed and takes a picture that ends up all fuzzy |

Do Sony cams die?
Some years ago I replaced my DSC F 717 with a new camera. It was not broken. About a year later I 'rediscoverd' it in my storage room. When I tried to turn it on nothing happened. Digital Cameras for Indoor Low Light Use
I currently use a Canon A590IS which takes great outdoor photos but only mediocre indoor photos, especially if the subject is over 10 feet away from the camera. SONY DSC-H50 flash shutter speed
Hello, I got myself such a camera and it makes great photos, but I do wonder at what shutter speed the flash is synchronised ... all the pics I make using the flash give a shutter speed of around 1/40 second (data from the EXIF). My old Olympus-C4000z has a speed of around 1/100 second. But maybe I missed something or don't understand how it works .. |

Recommendations? Sub-$150 Digital Camera with video (W/DECENT COMPRESSION)
Howdy. I currently have a Canon Powershot SD300. While on the whole I like it, one thing that's annoying is that if I want to shoot video, a 2gb card will only last 15 minutes on their 640x480 video mode. Cracked LCD or something else?
Dear Readers, My Sony DSC-S600 was working fine until tonight. When I turn it on, only a small corner of the LCD shows the image under reivew or live (during photo/movie mode).
