Sat, 17 May 2008 08:45:20 GMT Unbenutzte M3: Was kann / muss ich erwarten?
Guten Tag!

Sat, 17 May 2008 04:49:55 GMT Grip or Luigi Case?
Hey Guys I finally got my camera back from Solms Oh boy did I miss it. Anyway now I want to really customize it now that I have fixed problems and decided to just keep it (listen to what the heart says) now as all agree M8 is pretty slipery little thing especially in vertical position so now I am contemplating what is a better option, Pro for Grip no cumbersom in and out of the case for changing stuff keeps the camera stream lined (birthday suit mode) I can still use tripod without takeing it out of the case Con for Grip No extra protection I think it is expensive for what it is Pro for Luigi case It protects the body from scratch or impact It should give me a nicer grip as well Looks very classic in it Con for Luigi case Cumbersom to take it in and out to replace battery and SD card makes M8 a bit bulky feeling? No tripod mount What do you guys think? or what do you find much better solution for you??

I've been making an attempt to photograph things other than the beautiful. It's a start.
Sat, 17 May 2008 01:47:37 GMT Please help me identify a certain Leica photographer
This is a shot in the dark. Leica's older website had many different links to photographers who used Leica equipment. There was one photographer in particular who had some very interesting industrial images, among others. He was a German fellow, I think, and he worked with M cameras, mostly. He had photos of all sorts of different factories. He had a photo of an assembly line for television monitors, and you could see them being assembled. Also photos of a newspaper printing press, I think? His website also had sound effects, that of a shutter firing and a motor drive advancing the film. (Interesting that he would use such a sound effect if he was primarily an 'M' shooter). Apologies that I can't remember much more, and for failing to find this online. I've tried. Thanks!!
