It produces powerful contrast effects in both landscapes and water, is relatively cheaper and easily interchangeable. There are certain negatives in Canon fisheye lens. None of the standard UV protection filters can be used with this lens. Only supplied gelatin filter fits it well. In heavy contrast conditions, chromatic aberration is an issue. 180 degree of viewing is actually diagonal. The lens cap slips off easily.
