Editing software for Sony DCR-DVD203E is crap

I bought a sony 203e camcorder, the software withit is crap, no editing. So tryed converting to mpeg with TMPGEnc DVD, things were lookin up. Burned a copy off and half way through no sound. So its back to working things out. If i do find an editing pacage for free that is, ill let all know. Sony feked up.....

Only Japanese langage is available.
Could you please get out the firmware and send it to me?
