Could you tell me the polarity/pinout of the Panasonic CGR-D120, CGR-D220, CGR-D08A, and CGR-D16A battery packs that your panasonic
charger charges? I have picked up a Panasonic minidv camera that I would like to use for PC upload/editing only, but it came without the power adaptor, charger, and batteries. I'll hook it up to a bench power supply to power it in the house, but I need to know the polarity first.
Thanks in advance for any reply you may come up with. :)

Based on this picture:
The positive is on the right side, when you look at the battery from the top while the connection is away from you.

Thanks! Then the bigger pins I see in my camera that are closer to the edges must be for holding the battery and not for current?

Bigger pins? I don't have the same MiniDV camcorder, so I haven't seen the bigger pins. Do you have a picture?

I will take one this evening, although I must admit I haven't had much luck with macro shots in the past. :)
