Reader Comments (Ars Technica)
Having been a photographer far longer than the recent digital camera craze, I was thinking of the Aperture magazine when reading the excerpt to this article (which would have been more interesting to me). When the name "Apple" popped up in the article, I was thoroughly confused until I realized that they were talking about the Aperture software released recently by Apple. Aperture is such a common word, in fact it's a basic photography term, that it throws the reader off without any specific context. It really need to be quantified, such as "Aperture Magazine" and "Apple Aperture", when talking about a specific product.
