SanDisk Ultra II 2G SD Card Error on Canon IXY 25 IS

I recently purchase Canon IXY 25 IS digital camera. I inserted SanDisk Ultra II 2G sd card and took about 200 photos and i viewed all photos several times. But suddenly it is showing Memory card error, card locked. The tab is in the unlocked position and does slide easily back and forth between locked and unlocked positions.I can't access the formatting position in my camera Cannon IXY 25 IS and cannot read in card reader. Help me please.
