Video Transfer Utility to Bypass Pixela

Hi,

My canon camcorder came with pixela transfer utility. With that application you HAVE to connect your camcorder with the usb cable and you HAVE to connect the power cord. I prefer to eject the SD card and to insert it in my PC so I made my own transfer utility for this that makes unique filenames and doesn't need all these cables to be connected (you still can if you lake).

if you're looking for an easy tool to transfer your movies from the camcorder to your PC, look at

I tried running it. But it reported the following error message:

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framewrok\v2.0.5072\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded

I understand your web site says "Microsoft Dotnet framework 2.0 is required to run this tool". But can you give us an idea where to download it and how to install it?

By the way, after running VideoTransfer.exe with the error message, it stays in memory. I had to kill it from the Windows Task Manager.

Yes you need the microsoft dotnet framework otherwise it won't run and you can not properly close it if it is not installed.

dotnet 2.0

Pixela's Transfer Utility seems to break up the large file into several 2-Gb files when uploading from my Canon camcorder. Does your utility limit the size of the uploaded files?

How about Total Commander?Your camcorder will be detected as Mass Storage Device. You can find all your video clips (MTS) in folder "BDMV\Stream".All you have to do is copy them and eventually change the extension from MTS to m2ts.
